• Skagit Valley College baseball team splits with Pierce (thenewstribune.com) — A college baseball doubleheader played in Puyallup saw Skagit Valley split with Pierce, taking the opener 5–3 before dropping the second game 7–1. The Cardinals’ bats came alive late in game one, but defensive miscues hurt them in the nightcap, leaving them with a 1–4 record overall.
